We've all heard those magic words, "curb appeal", but what does it mean?
To people in the market looking to purchase a home, curb appeal is how inviting your home is when they see it. People want a home that says hello before they do. A bright front door is one good way to add curb appeal, another is landscaping around the front of the home. We've all seen that house on the street all beautifully done up with flowers and bushes lining the home, walkways, and driveway. That home is way more valuable than the exact same home without, but why? Because it has curb appeal. When selling a home you want to show it in the best light. You want it to look as inviting as possible, and spending a few hundred dollars on plants can increase your overall sale price by thousands! Don't skip the yard! It's the first and last thing a buyer sees when they visit your home!
What can you do the increase the value of your home?
